Cross Ash Primary is committed to providing a learning environment where children are encouraged to reach their full potential in whatever they are doing. There is a strong emphasis on the wellbeing of the children here, with relationships being supportive and respectful. We endeavour to ensure that the children come in happily in the morning and are bursting with enthusiasm about the learning experiences they have had throughout the day when they return home.
Alongside this caring, nurturing ethos comes high standards and expectations. The school’s dedicated and highly professional staff ensure that each child is challenged and encouraged to be the best that they can be. Staff also provide many extra-curricular activities for the children so that their talents outside of the curriculum can be further developed and celebrated.
Cross Ash Primary is a rural school with unique, beautiful and extensive school grounds. The children benefit greatly from lots of outdoor learning opportunities which support and enhance the curriculum we provide.
We enjoy close links with parents and we strongly believe that positive home-school partnerships are vitally important to a child’s wellbeing and success. We encourage parents and carers to be part of school life as much as possible.
