The eco-committee, as well as the school as a whole, have worked hard at creating a green, environmentally friendly school where all its pupils have a good understanding and respect of environmental issues. This was recently recognised in an eco-schools assessment where the school was awarded the 'Green Flag' - the highest level of award in this area - for the fifth time! A health promoting school actively promotes and protects the physical, mental and social health and well being of its community through positive action. We are part of the local 'Healthy Schools' scheme and have been accredited for our work in this area.
